I love prepping for a Basketball broadcast. KYP is a term I frequently heard across all my years in gyms listening to coaches get their teams ready. What Hoops lacks in volume of personnel (some teams may play only 7 or 8 players across a game), it makes up for in wealth of numbers. Standard stats (fg%, 3pt%, ft%, PPG, etc.) on to advanced analytics, (eFG%, Pace, Shooting Zones), the sheer volume goes on and on. Knowing what to put, and where it is located, is the key to keeping up in a sport that moves. Don't get caught looking down and miss the highlight poster call!
